… I came into this world, kicking and screaming.
Actually, I think my mother was doing more of the screaming. (I was a big baby. 9 pounds, 6 ounces.)

I am not sure what I weighed when I was born, but I choked on a piece of placenta as I came out of my mother’s womb and spend a week in a humicrib.
